We were super proud at Amber and Onyx! After a week with just a few trainings they achieved a pretty nice score in the M2-category and came in 4th! Let’s head for the Hippiade!
European Championship for ponies: Kaposvar Hungary
Kaposvar Hungary a 4th place for the Dutch team for now
Micky Schelstraete and Elin’s Noncisdador entered the arena as the first Dutch combination and were closely monitored by the rest of their team members including the former rider of Sco, Zoë Kuintjes, as they achieved a score of 69,257 %. The second combination for the Netherlands, Sam Oudhof riding Bodethal’s Kosima, gained a score of 69.179% which places them just behind Micky and Sco. With a total score of 139.436 points The Netherlands came in fourth place with still a chance to climb the ladder. The Britisch team currently is in third place with a score of 138.667 points which makes them just 0.231 point ahead of The Netherlands.

Day 4: We’re very proud at our girl (12), the youngest of the European Championship’s team
What a wonderful experience and what a great performance! Today there was a lot at stake so a good performance was essential. Unfortunately there was no freestyle to music for the 4th Dutch competitor… Nevertheless a 14th place was achieved out of 63 participants.

A wonderful result in the individual test at the European Championship in Kaposvar. After a 4th place with the national team the team was more than ever focused and motivated to triumph in a very warm Kaposvar. A wonderful 5th place for Marten in a competition with 63 competitors from 16 different countries!! Brandy came in 11th and for Micky it was a 14th place. Congratulations to you all!
Day 5: Individual tests
Today the individual tests are on the agenda. Marten started at 7:38. He performed well which gave him a score of 73.268! The eventing participants started in the Cross Country discipline. What a great sport. And what a great movements and spirit in the dressage arena! Brandy 71.463%, Sam 72.000% and Micky 69.439%

Sofie Andersson and CSI selected for the European championships in Roosendaal
We are really proud of Sofie Andersson and CSI for this achievement. This is Sofie’s message on Facebook:
We are Selected for the European championships in Roosendaal, Holland!!
This will be the 6’th time for me but the first time with CSI. I couldn’t have done it without my big team, especially a big thanks to my supporting parents, trainer and sponsors.
Last but not least, thank you Jonna Schelstraete for letting me buy this amazing horse.
1st place PAVO preselection: 85 points for the 6-year old Grand-Charmeur and Jonna Schelstraete
85 points were awarded by the PAVO Cup-Jury to the 6-year old Grand Charmeur (Apache x Cocktail) and Jonna Schelstraete. The by Th. Heeren (Odiliapeel) bred gelding showed an impressive gallop and a great technique in his leg movements and Schelstraete was given a compliment for the training.

Micky Schelstraete selected for the pony team for the European Dressage Championship
The national coach of the pony dressage riders, Monique Peutz, has made the team known which will compete in the European Championship. The European Championship for Pony’s takes place in Kaposvár, Hungary from the 25th until the 30th of July.
Micky Schelstraete (Gemonde) will travel to Hungary to make an attempt to obtain a medal with her team.
Amber spare “Kring” champion in the M2 category
On Sunday the 2nd of July Amber came in 2nd place in the M2 selection competition and therefore became spare Kring champion. She participated with Onyx. This is one step closer for her to the championships of Brabant.
